Dr. Gordon opened his first clinic in Robertsdale, Alabama in June 1996. The phone number was 947-HELP, his practice focus was preventative care. Dr. Gordon and Annie started out with $500 dollars, a lot of hard work, and a dream. He worked delivering the Pensacola News Journal News paper from 4am to 6 or 7 am, as a Chiropractor from 9 or 10 am till 4 or 5 pm, then as a waiter at a restaurant on the Gulf Shores beach. Annie worked at Shoney’s if Foley, Alabama. That year he saw about 40 patients and made an estimated $ 10,000 dollars as a chiropractor. He opened his second clinic in Mobile, Alabama at 2172 St. Stephens Rd, January 1997, the Tuesday after Dr. Martin Luther King’s Day. At the Mobile clinic Dr. Gordon focus on treating personal injury patients. He started marketing his practice around March 1997, with radio and television ads, and post cards and still uses the same marketing techniques today. As of March 2000, He has the largest clinic in Mobile; as for square footage, and the amount of chiropractic physicians employed. Dr. Gordon closed his Robertsdale Clinic in or around June 1997.
On March 2000, He opened his fourth clinic, at it’s current location on 5400 Zeigler Blvd. In Mobile. Giving him 3 clinics in Mobile. In December 2001, he opened his 5th (4th in operation) clinic in Montgomery Alabama at 1215 E. South Blvd. Dr. Gordon now has 5 clinics, with the newest being located in Birmingham Alabama. Why have you grown to be one of the largest chiropractic clinics in Alabama ? Dr. Gordon attributes his growth to hard work, sometimes his work day starts at 4am and ends as late as 1am. Dedication to his craft, and his constant giving back to the community in which his clinic is located. As Dr. Sid Williams founder and former President of Life University taught, "Give for the sake of Giving" are the reasons for his success.
